We are excited to launch a new feature to help you create, track and manage your strategies after an assessment!
After at least one LQA assessment has taken place, on your Hotel Summary page you’ll see a new button:
“Create Post Assessment Roadmap”
Clicking this button will open a comprehensive roadmap overview, allowing you to review each assessed department in detail and begin building targeted improvement strategies for each department.
Who is it for?
Hotel managers and Department Managers (Admin and department manager level users) who want to create and track a company strategy by assigning action plans to the staff.
Value
- Build strategies for each sub-department using LQA Consultant recommendations.
- Assign action plans to staff and monitor progress.
- Integrated with LQA’s Action Plans—track everything in one place!
How it works?
Step 1: Accessing the Roadmap (after an assessment has been published)
- Go to the Hotel Assessment Summary page.
- Click “Create Post Assessment Roadmap”.
- You’ll be redirected to a department-level overview, showing:
- Current and previous assessment and EI Guest connection scores
- Status
- Number of action plans
- Edit options
- “Submit Post Assessment Roadmap” button: this is disabled until at least one strategy is in place and once confirmed the roadmap is no longer editable.
Step 2: Editing a Department
- Click “Edit” next to a department (e.g., Front of House).
- View all subdepartments on the left.
- Select a subdepartment (e.g., Check-In) to:
- Review scores and feedback.
- View consultant recommendations.
- Add your Strategy and Action Plans.
Example below:
Step 3: Adding an Action Plan
- Click “+ Add Action Plan”.
- Complete the form:
- Link to standards
- Type of action and measurement
- Due date and assignee
- Title and description
- Click Save Action (Note: Action plans remain in draft until entire roadmap is submitted).
You’ll see a confirmation message, and the action will appear in the list.
You can edit or delete drafts any time before submission but be advised that if you click cancel then any added information will be lost.
Example below:
Note: Top right corner in Sub-department tabs display the number of action plans associated (in the grey circle)
Step 4: Reviewing and Submitting
Once strategies and actions are entered:
- Click “Save and go to next” to move through sub-departments.
- Mark departments as “Ready for Review” (required before submission) to let your team or manager know you are done with adding strategies to your department.
- When you’re done, go back to the Post Assessment Roadmap overview page.
- There, you can click “Submit Post Assessment Roadmap” when you’re ready.
Important Note: Submission is final—no edits allowed after this point.
Step 5: After Submission
- Roadmap Progress appears on the Hotel Assessment Summary page.
- Staff can view and complete their assigned Action Plans; these will also be displayed in the Action Plans page:
- Progress updates automatically reflect on the Hotel Assessment Summary page; you can click on the progress bars to see the details.
